Residency at Warehouse9, Copenhagen.

Experience a cross-disciplinary collaboration unfold from prominent queer and body-political artists from Istanbul. Visual artist Emir Erkaya and performance artist Leman Sevda Darıcıoğlu are IPAF artists-in-residence and will occupy Warehouse9’s gallery room for the duration of the festival. Encounter a queer performance practice merge with virtuosic paintings of Istanbul’s sub-culture, and see how the two disciplines merge and transform the gallery space into a queer-political performance installation.

The gallery room will be open to the public throughout the festival and will include a visual art exhibition by Emir Erkaya, performances by Leman Sevda Darıcıoğlu, a workshop and a conversation with the artists. The detailed Artists-in-Residence programme will be announced closer to the festival dates.
