What if we do just a simple action during a period of time without any interruption, how can the body hold it even when it’s exhausted, full in pain? What if I share just my being, what if I show almost nothing but mostly my presence… Is it just my vulnerability revealing itself, are they all my wounds appearing through my presence?

Standing with dried corn roses is an research on being in time and in space as the body itself. The performance consists of the Leman S. Darıcıoğlu’s standing still in the middle of the room with two dried corn roses during 6 hours. She* holds the corn roses, rubs them with her* hands and rubs them to each other. The only moving part of Darıcıoğlu’s body is her* left arm, hand and their gaze. With the corn roses on her* hand; she* stares at the room, at Venice sky through the windows, at the ceiling of the room, at the audience. She* makse eye contact, she* watches their passing, she* watches how the room changes with people, she* watches her* own shadow.
