Hello I’m Leman, a woman artist from Turkey produced for the Asian Women Artists exhibition in Jeonbuk Museum in South Korea, is a video performance that questions the identity categories assigned to human-beings. Based on the idea that the categories of gender and national identity are engraved in the body, the symbols of gender and nation identities assigned to it, are stitched with the help of a woman and a man performer on Leman S. Darıcıoğlu’s body.
