Sotto voce:
“Can we clean history; can we forget what our eyes have seen, our ears have heard; can we clean ourselves of the dirt of remaining witnesses in this age of infinite, ordinary evil; can we lick, swallow, digest what remains in our bodies after everything we absorb; can we really absorb what is going on and still be ourselves with all these unspoken words and hidden truths; can we see ourselves in this blackout; can we…”
A corporeal research into history, memory, and testimony/witnessing, based on that which cannot be spoken, cannot find a tongue, and remains in silence, in darkness. An investigation into cleaning history and giving visibility to the invisible.
