Performistanbul and Blok art space present, international performance art platform Performistanbul ’s artist Leman S. Darıcıoğlu joins Masa Project for a performance entitled “3 Days with Masa”. Based on the need for collectivity and alternative areas, “Masa Project” will reinterpret its presence with the performance of Leman S. Darıcıoğlu.

An alternative place for Turkish contemporary art scene, Masa Project presented more than 40 artist in 12 years and for this special project Masa is excited to be a subject and an object of a performance art. Masa Project will transform into a place where possibilities about time and form is explored.

A performance of interrogation about history, memory, remembrance and mis-remembrance 3 Days with Masa will be presented for 3 days and 8 hours a day between 11th and 13th January 2019 in Büyük Valide Han. Centered around the the history of minority and issues about labour, 3 Days with Masa aims to be a bridge between the two socio-culturally opposite historical districts of Istanbul. Büyük Valide Han, located in Eminönü and Dolapdere will be in dialogue with the performance of Leman S. Darıcıoğlu. Livestream of 3 Days with Masa will be displayed at the Mardo Ohanoğlu’s shopwindow in Dolapdere, the joiner of Masa.

3 days with THE TABLE” is actualised with the consolidation of Art On Istanbul, Space Debris Art, Jüs İstanbul ve Reflect Studio.
